i hear you're taking the town again...

it sucks to be without a voice.

i've been getting it back and losing it all weekend. today it went down to a whisper. it really sucked cuz i finally got a copy of the RENT movie soundtrack and couldn't sing along. T=

i was also at khaing's myspace page (::gasp::) and got the urge to get MYMP songs. i found their cover of "i'll never get over you getting over me." i heart that song!

and i'm still voiceless...

let's hope i get it back by the starting line concert this sunday.

sportsfest

rain. no more than 3 hours of sleep each night. barely eating food during the day. eating at banana bay or the boat after midnight. lost voices. lost games. lost sanity. absolutely no time to study for finals. chaos.

was sportsfest worth it?

bonding. accomplishment. memories.

oh yeah. and walkie talkies, too. (=

3 + 1 = 2!!!

3 hours of sleep wednesday night/thursday morning + 1 can of sobe adrenaline (at 6pm) allowed the following:
  • 2 presentations (telecom & accounting)
  • 2 papers (telecom & marketing)
  • 2 meetings (itc & barkada... kinda)
  • 2 games of volleyball (well, one match vs. beginning volleyball)
  • 2 concerts (chamber singers/concert choir & session a: aceyalone)
  • dinner w/ 2 friends (kuya mike & bobot)
why am i still awake?

interesting note: my first rock concert (the used, november 2002) and my first hip hop concert (aceyalone, march 2006) were both free and smelled of weed.

randomity.

"do everything!" ...but don't do that. ...or that.

forget regret, or life is yours to miss.

he cheated!

after finally getting my barkada sweater back from geoff, i think i lost it again...

SPORTSFEST STARTS TODAY!!!

waiting

what am i waiting for? what will it take for me to make a change?

here are some procrastination quotes that i found today:
The sooner I fall behind, the more time I have to catch up. ~Author Unknown

One of the greatest labor-saving inventions of today is tomorrow. ~Vincent T. Foss

To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing. ~Eva Young

If you want to make an easy job seem mighty hard, just keep putting off doing it. ~Olin Miller

Procrastination is like masturbation. At first it feels good, but in the end you're only screwing yourself. ~Author Unknown
asdfqwertyblah.

i'm okay with my life as it is, but what if there's something better than this? but at the same time, what if i make a change and it ends up worse?
How will I know limits from lies if I never try? - thrice
i really do not know.

bakit ngayon ka lang...?

It's really crazy to think of all the possibilities of how our lives could play out. There are numerous ways... what if this happened? what if i took that chance? etc... The possibilities, man... endless.

That's one of the concepts we addressed in our late nite/early morning discussion session at Kuya Russell's house last night/this morning. Hahah. It's been a long, fun-filled weekend...

Friday:
  • Late to class; easy javascript lab.
  • Went to work; only person there for the first hour; ate carne asada tacos from Maria's.
  • Went to the PR for Archie's bday kickback. Yummy asada, again!!! "emo" corner. the offense.
  • Went to Kuya Russell's house for the first ever DVD viewing of PACN 2005: Average Joe. Much work is still needed to be done on it, but it was great watching it. Brought back good memories... ::sigh::
  • A bunch of people left and somehow, it ended up being Kuya Russell, Kuya Mike, Jon Perry, and me having the most circular discussions. It started out with plans for the betterment of e-board, families, then reminiscing the days of childhood and innocence. Then someone we started talking about about what it means to be "Filipino" vs. "Filipino-American", what would happen if there was no "Philippines", homeless Afghans, Myanmar-ians... then it jumped to Catholicism and SDA-ism, creation/evolution, alien's... and finally, we just went home. (5am... omg.)
Saturday
  • Got home, was greeted with a: "You didn't call," answered with an, "Oh," and then knocked out.
  • Went to Pathfinder Park for Barkada's All-Star Saturday. Chilled for most of the day, eating more carne asada, drinking diet v8 splash (gummy bears, man!), playing outburst, and just talking. Yeah... no sports for me. I did enjoy being enlightened by Ana about a certain season. hahah.
  • Ended up at Kappa Delta's Shamrock. (wth!? what was i doing at a sorority shindig?) My Kuya Russell (zeta phi rho) was a KD King hopeful. He was so close to winning... Awesome job all around. Got 2nd place, though... [chant]2nd place! 2nd place![/chant]
  • Got to the MISSA bowling event at Oak Tree Lanes about an hour and a half late. Played one game and got shoes for $5. Got a strike for my first frame! Overall, though, I only got 70.
  • Went home early and got talked to by the parentals...
It's been a great couple of days, but now it's time to get back to the real world... T=

The rest of the weekend:
  • Start and finish my CIS307 research paper on VoIP.
  • Finish my CIS311 websitte.
  • Start and finish my IBM301 case study on IBM.
Randomness:
  • Quote from chad's away message: when you find your passion, the best is always demanded of you; not by the expectations of others, but by the bidding of your own heart.
  • I wonder how things would be if everyone was honest all the time.
  • I really wanna do PACN this year, but I don't think I'm gonna have the time...
  • It's interesting how we put ourselves in certain positions...
