Hitachi is teh awesome. The ppl are great. I will have to break out of my shell soon.
Right now I'm working at the client (Raytheon) site in Long Beach.
Since I was in the area, I went to the Jamba Juice by the Lakewood Mall and tried the Mega Mango... Let it be known: Mango-a-go-go > Mega Mango. Period.
I also drove by AUS (my elementary school which, btw, has the best site I've seen it have ever right now; how cute, they use google calendar!). It pretty much looks the same except they painted more things blue. The handball wall is still there and the ooold announcement sign is there.
I also passed by my old house. I wish I could've stayed in front for a while but the owners were chilling outside on the driveway on white plastic chairs that looked like our white plastic chairs. The tree on the left side of the house (if you're facing it) was trimmed to look like a 'shroom. I wonder what my old room looks like...
On a side note, it's weird how baselines shift. I was happy w/ our house on Louise but now that we have our house in Riverside, my sister and I are reluctant to move to a house bigger than the former but smaller than the latter. Btw, yes, our house is back on the market.
So I had dinner at teh grandparentals: brown rice & vegetables with tiny bits of chicken and chunks of tofu (I didn't eat the tofu, though, of course). It was a bit sad... I was talking to my lola and she asked if the food was okay. She said she couldn't cook more meat because she can't stand up for long periods of time anymore... T= That's a major kawawa-face... I'm glad I'm here, though. Time spent with teh relatives that I probably should've spent with them in 2003. But anyway...
I am leeching off of HBC realty's wifi at the moment so I would like to take a moment to thank them: Thank you.
Btw, it's a bit funny to me how people comment on my lack of enthusiasm. My coworker showed me a picture of her cat (a.k.a. the "cutest cat ever"). I'm not really a fan of cats, but the cat was kinda cute so I said, "Aww." I forgot what she said in response to that but something about my lack of enthusiasm. I thought I was showing some but I guess not compared to the "OMG! HE IS THE CUTEST THING EVER!" she was probably expecting.
I'm so not vocal.
And another thing... on my Dell lappie the first button on the bottom left is the Ctrl key then the Fn (function) key; on teh Hitachi IBM ThinkPad, it's the other way around. It toooootally slows me down at work. And the keyboard's much bigger, as well. Don't take teh lappies away from me, tho, pls. kthxbye.
